About Carrie Wilbur

I've Been on Your Side of the Counter

Carrie Wilbur, founder of Shoreline Media

Twenty years on the other side of the job

Carrie Wilbur has spent her career on both sides of the counter. For more than twenty years she owned and operated a residential remodeling company — buying houses, fixing them, and reselling them. She has done the work herself and managed everyone who did the rest: demo, flooring, paint, roofing, HVAC, the punch list, and the scheduling of every trade that came through the door. She is still a licensed real estate agent.

That's the part her clients tend to care about. When a contractor explains a job to her, she isn't nodding along politely. She has run crews, chased subcontractors, quoted work, and answered the phone with her hands full.

Still living the problem she solves

She has also managed municipal capital improvement projects — public budgets, procurement, contractors, and the kind of paperwork that has to be right the first time. She runs a pressure washing company as well, which means she is still living the same problem her clients are.

Why Shoreline Media exists

Shoreline Media grew out of all of it. After building websites for local contractors and watching them lose work — not for lack of leads, but for lack of follow-up — she started building the systems behind the websites: the automatic text back, the reminders, the review requests, and the pipeline that keeps a lead from quietly disappearing.

Today she works with home service businesses across Florida and beyond, giving them one system that does the chasing so they can stay focused on the work. No jargon, no long contracts, and no monthly reports nobody reads.

"You keep doing the work. The system does the chasing."
